I’m a counsellor/psychotherapist and teacher. Feedback given to me includes that I’m experienced, warm, caring, non-judgmental and empathetic.
I have worked with men and women from all walks of life who have reported clarity of mind, new found freedom, an enhanced lifestyle and hope for the future as a direct result of working with me.
As the owner of Newcastle Counselling Service, I combine psychodynamic, humanistic and evidence-based therapies, along with insight and resources that provide clients with the ability to start their healing from their first session. With a Bachelor of Applied Social Science (Counselling) and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, I’m known for having more than textbook knowledge.
I’m an adult survivor who has learned that the things that have hurt me, have transformed me. I’ve used past hurts, disappointments and wounds to create the type of future I want. I truly know without a shadow of a doubt that healing and recovery are truly possible from damage in childhood.
